Send a Card With Pride

At the very start of July this year we were part of a group of 50 Greeting Card Association members who got together to celebrate Pride in London.

It was an amazing day!

Several members of the GCA wanted to celebrate both Pride and the industry we work in, and so a group got together and decided to make it happen! The plan was simple, get some LGBT+ publishers, owners, staff and supporters and celebrate our community and industry. And what better way to do that then with a few greeting cards!

We all met up on a bright sunny Saturday morning. We had placards, we had a banner, t-shirts, flags and of course glitter! But we also had two trolleys overflowing with 10,000 Pride and LGBT+ related greeting cards!

We walked, we danced, we cheered, we waved and we saw the real impact our businesses and industry can have on people. The smiles, the thankyou's, the little moments of joy and happiness that giving someone a greeting card brings.

The team from card company Lanther Black spent the day filming and you  watch the video below. All the card companies and publishers that came along and made this such a special day for our industry - and that is captured in this beautiful video.

We can't lie, we may have cried a little watching this.

For us personally the day really helped us feel why this such an amazing industry to be a part of. Companies working together to support each other.

And it was so amazing to be back at Pride. You never forget your first Pride (ours was back in the last century), and we will never forget this one.
