Get Ready For Christmas Early and Save!
Holidays are coming, holidays are coming …
We may not be the Coca-Cola advert, but with Christmas just around the corner and we are already starting to pick cards with Santa on for orders.
There is good news and there is bad news for sending cards to friends and family this year! Good news is that there aren’t any Royal Mail strikes planned this year. We lost track of how many orders and cards got lost in the postal system last year.
So hopefully your cards will be delivered quickly and promptly this year. But as always, we suggest getting your Christmas orders in early and posting them out early!
If you want to send them in December, why not buy them and get them ready to post on the 1st December.
And now the bad news, Royal Mail have decided to bring their stamp price increase forward to the start of October!!
First Class stamps are going up by 15p for a letter and 35p for a large letter.
Send Second Class
The one bit of good news is that second class letter stamps are staying the same price at 75p.
So we are now encouraging everyone who wants to post and send Christmas cards this year to buy early and post early with second class which will save you 50p per card sent.
Buy First Class Stamps Today
But if you want to use First class stamps we suggest you get along to the post office and buy some books of first class stamps before the price increase. You will be able to use these stamps after the 1st October, but you will be saving 15p a card posted!
Post Offices have stamps available in packs of 4, 8 or 50.
