Christmas Posting Dates
Christmas is very nearly here.
In fact, it is so close we had our first mince pies of the season in September, and they were delicious.
We have been excited to see the start of early Christmas orders coming in, with plenty of customers loving our new 2024 designs! And this time of year, it’s great to send cards to family and friends, the perfect way to keep in touch or maybe reconnect with someone.
And so we want to remind everyone about or shipping rates, policies and the best value way to send your cards on to their recipients.
Send Early Send Second Class
Unfortunately, postage and stamp prices do keep increasing, so we once again encourage everyone to stock up on Second Class stamps and post your cards early! A first class stamp this year will cost you £1.65, but you can save money posting Second class at just 85p a card!
UK Delivery Rates & Times
We have updated our delivery options for all UK orders to help make them a bit clearer and offer more options. Our standard delivery is Royal Mail Second Class which is free for orders over £10 or £1.50 for smaller orders.
Second Class delivery usually takes 2 – 5 days for delivery, so please be aware of this if you need a card urgently!
If you can’t wait that long and want your Dean Morris Cards products as soon as possible we now offer Royal Mail First Class delivery and Royal Mail Tracked 24. First class is charged at £3.00 for orders below £10.00 and £1.50 for above.
First and Second class do not offer tracking to see where your order is!
If you want a tracked delivery, we recommend you use the Tracked 24 delivery option. When the order is despatched your order confirmation e-mail and order history will have the tracking number for use on the Royal Mail website.
Royal Mail aim to delivery Tracked 24 the next working day, however this is not guaranteed. While most is, some orders will take an extra day for delivery. Please be aware of this when ordering as we cannot unfortunately issue refunds if Royal Mail do not deliver the item next day. They do not consider the item 'lost' until ten days after posting.
Last Order Dates
Royal Mail have published their last posting dates for Christmas which you can view on their website. But we are suggesting for any orders you want to receive in time for the big day you need to place orders by midday on the following dates.
International Orders: Friday 29th November 2024
UK Second Class Delivery: Monday 16th December 2024
UK First Class: Thursday 19th December 2024
UK Tracked 24: Friday 20th December 2024
Remember these dates are for delivery to you, if you need to post your cards on to someone else you need to be placing orders for our fabulous cards before these dates.
